Celebrating GenUnity’s Spring 2025 Fellows: A Night of Resilience and Community
.jpg)
Last Thursday, GenUnity gathered at Roxbury Community College to honor the Spring 2025 Health Equity and Housing Justice fellows. Despite a fierce nor’easter and some rather large turkeys "guarding" the doors, our passionate fellows arrived with bright smiles, ready to celebrate their achievements.
Over the past 10 weeks, participants engaged in small-group discussions, systems mapping, and expert-led conversations, gaining tools to identify and address disparities in their communities. Now, as official GenUnity Lifetime Community members, these fellows will work towards driving change in their communities alongside a supportive network of 300 changemakers committed to advancing equity in Massachusetts.
The evening was filled with shared stories, laughter, and a delicious dinner from Fresh Food Generation. Led by Lead Facilitators Harry Harding and Alyssa Benalfew-Ramos, fellows reflected on their takeaways and favorite moments from the program. As the night concluded, they exchanged contact information, shared hugs, and posed for group photos, proudly displaying their new certificates.
Congratulations to all our Spring '25 fellows—your leadership lights the way for a brighter future in Massachusetts!
